More Photos...

Yesterday in the lovely sunshine all 4 of us (that includes Ruby) took a long walk up a steep hill, up the top everything was thick ice, even in the bright sunshine it did not thaw. We were lucky it was so crunchy under boot as it would have been a thick sticky bog had it not been and not much fun at all..   Ruby wore her new trendy "Ruff Sack" and helped carry essential equipment,.. I worried that she might be embarrassed as she did seem to skip quickly past another dog we saw, however I am not sure if it were embarrassment or fear that the other dog may pinch her lovely new bag.  Anyway, that is a whole new story that I am sure Ruby or Stray will tell.

Below are 2 photos taken along the way...

Makes me want to shoulder a ruck sack myself and set off for the Dales.

By coincidence I've just ordered a 'Ruff Wear' stretchy dog lead, this is so I can take photos, whilst out with our dog
She is nervous of the camera, with this lead I can clip it around my waist and concentrate on the photo, with out all my shots being out of focus and shaky because the dog is pulling for home
The is in the bad books because she tried to bite the vet last night, we can now add African men to the list of people she doesn't like, bald men, men with glasses, men with beards)

Ooh! We've got one of those ... I shall add a pic to this entry ...

It's really really good for coming down hills (and going up too!) - and yes, lovely to have your hands free.

Oh dear ... yes, Roo doesn't like men in hats, men with beards, men with clipboards, men with small children on their shoulders (who obviously look like they have 2 heads) ... women are never a problem. I'm lucky that her woooooofing has never actually turned to a chomping, but she does jump up and scare the crap out of people.

Right ... where's that photo ...

Hi Badger, I saw a sheep just like that on the island of Iona last year, and the sky that day was the same colour of mediterranean blue - and probably just as cold as where you are now.
