Magical mist...

On the last day of 2008 we went for a walk in our village in the Dales, it was really misty but we thought what the heck and then as we headed up the hill we suddenly came out the other side into glorious sunshine and took these pictures. It was like being on top of everest or something!

Awwww lovely, Badger ... you walked up into the sky, while we walked out into the sea (well the Forth of Firth) along a half-mile causeway to a lovely little island for our New Year stroll.

Happy New Year to you and you all.

That second photo looks kind of familiar - I'm wondering if I've cycled along there. But then I would say that, without any firm evidence either way...

...and either way, these are wonderful photographs, it must have been amazing to be there at that moment.

Happy New Year to you all from me too!

Just like Everest eh? That's a bit like when I described the beach at Edinburgh as being just like the Sahara lol. I take it you were all suitably adorned in sherpa hats. Happy 2009 to all you lovelies xxxx.
