The triangle book is here!

It's a real, proper, shiny book about triangles... as created by Badger and I, with help from the Head First team and my co-author Dawn Griffiths.

Very, very exciting:

And then you too will know about triangles (other shapes also available) and I will earn about seven pence.

It is a very good feeling :)

There must have been a delay somewhere; my copy has now arrived and what a beautiful book it is.
I hadn't noticed that it was an O'Reilly book -- I have two shelves full of his books (starting with termcap in the eighties).
Congratulations to you and Badger and I hope you will sell lots of copies.

Thanks Pierre! It's very beautiful isn't it? I can't take credit for that part - it's Badger's department, and also a wonderful designer called Lou Barr, and of course the originators, Bert Bates and Kathy Sierra.

There was a delay in the UK on stocks of all the HF books this month - not sure why but it got there in the end!

Cas - thanks :) Can't wait for you to review it!

JJ - it's very exciting indeed. My primary school teacher told my parents I would either be a writer or a mathematician... this feels like the perfect combination for me!

Trousers - cheers mate!

Hullaballoooooooverly - thanks. You can now read about number things without freaking out. I know how much you're looking forward to learning about triangles...

Misssy M - thank-thee. It's rather strange to think how many kids might crack geometry because of our book. Good feeling!

DJ - thanks. You have no idea how much Badger's aspieness was a tool in creating this book! Every education book should have an aspie on the team...

UHDD - true! Mind you, the book also contains squares, and quads generally... so we're covered.

Leather Dyke - thanks :) It's nice to see that people still keep an eye out for us here xx

Hello again Stray. You have just reminded me that my father always used to say that people had trouble understanding Maths because it was badly taught.
It's been more than 40 years since I studied geometry, but I think I'll start again.
